Poor lil dude

So we have had some rough days and nights lately and after trying everything that we could think of we decided to call the doctor. Tray has been sooo fussy and miserable lately and not sleeping at all at night. Every time he eats or toots or poops he is just a crying mess. The doctor definitely said he has acid reflux. All signs point to it from the way he acts and it's hereditary. Mitch gets heart burn all the time so that made the case. He would also eat for 30 to 40 minutes at a time and has been gaining weight rapidly but that is because the sucking makes him feel better but it is actually making him worse because it just causes more reflux. We are trying some rice cereal for 2 days and if he is screaming at night uncontrollably then he can get a shot of mylanta. I also have to limit feedings to 10 mins then a burp then 10 more mins and that's it for as long as i can hold him off to let him get a chance to digest.... the first round didn't go too well- he is a starving little chunky monkey!! If by Friday that doesn't seem to be working then he has to have an Upper GI to check him out and make sure he for sure has acid reflux. Once that confirms it then he will be put on antibiotics until it seems to go away. Most babies it only lasts no later than 12 to 18months so fingers crossed that we can take care of it and it doesn't get worse. The first picture was when Mitch tried to calm him down so he put him in the swing and gushed how cute he was so he took some pictures... a minute later he was screaming!! haha The second is just after a crying spell and as you can see from his face he was very tired and grumpy... but still adorable!
