FINISHED
WOOOHOOO! The bathroom and laundry are finally finished. Well, close enough. Mitch is putting in the trim work this weekend in the laundry room but its the trim behind the washer and dryer so at least is looks done. Dave and Pru thanks again for all the help we have gotten a ton of compliments on it and it really does look amazing. I am proud to say that I decorated both rooms will all garage sale items. Everything you see except for the 3-tier towel rack is from a garage sale. You can't see it but i found the coolest trash can for the bathroom. So it only took about 4 months but its done! Thanks again....come use it again soon :)
Funny Faces
Check out our lil crazy child! He has been making the funniest faces ever lately. He has been doing great except he can roll over now from him tummy to his back so in the middle of the night he flips and then gets mad so cries. We go in and flip him back but he just flips right back and is laying there like a turtle on his back mad...UGH! I'm hoping he learns how to flip from his back to his tummy ASAP!

4 months old
WOW 4 months seemed like it took forever at the moment but now it feels like it flew by. Trayton had his checkup and he is great! Last week we increased his Zantac and he is a whole new baby. In the past 10 days he has officially hit sooo many milestones all on his own. He started sleeping through the night... he rolled over (on his tummy to his back and has almost done back to tummy but he gets so frustrated its actually very entertaining)..... he does nothing all day but laugh and smile..... he plays on his own now for hours where as before it was a max 15 mins...... he talks back to you when you talk to him (baby talk that is). It has been just amazing to see that when his tummy is feeling good all the things he can do and just love life. The pediatrician still cant believe how alert he is and told me that if Mitch and I aren't constantly talking to and singing to him we will be hurting him developmentally since he will catch on soooo fast. It is true too because you can tell when you make a noise he mimics you almost perfectly! He didn't even cry when he got his shots- he screamed then started laughing.
Mitch is out golfing today since he only has about 2 Saturdays left until he has no life but football. We have been getting as much friend time and bbq's in as possible and next weekend we are having a big party here... It's called the Annual Mitchell Garager. We have it every year and we set up a big bar in the garage and make chili dogs and just sit around in chairs and drink and play lawn games. The whole staff comes so it's a good time. Here are some pics of him hanging out watching golf with Mitch, playing with his buddy Kane and if you look close in the one picture they are holding hands.

Just after I got done bragging to Prudy last night that Mitch and I feel normal again since Trayton went to bed at 8pm with no fuss and we were on the back deck sharing a bottle of wine he woke up screaming... ugh! It took us until about 10:30pm to get him back to bed and we even fed him again in hopes he would sleep all night long then. NOPE! He was up 4 hours later around 2:30am like he is every night. I got stung by a bee on my behind 2 days ago so I took 2 benadryl before I went to bed since it itches like crazy and is soo swollen it looks like I have a 3rd butt cheek, so I was so out of it Mitch had to get up with him. Same routine that he does every night... bottle, burp, falls right back to sleep but the minute you put him in the crib he screams. The minute you pick him up he falls right back to sleep- SPOILED! This goes on usually for about an hour until he just gives in.... needless to say we will definently be those parents that the second we get the okay that he can sleep through the night we will let him cry because he is a little monster at night. He woke up at 6:45am and I got up with him but Mitch saw how I could barely keep my eyes open and he is such a morning person he shot out of bed anyway so I went back down and finally at 8:30am I woke up with the drugs out of my system and could function again. My sting still itches so we might have to take a walk today to Walgreens to get some cream. Any advice on how to get your child to sleep let me know....

4th of July
Happy 4th of July everyone. We had quite an eventful day. After Tray's morning nap I took off for a run towards Grand Valley while Mitch got our little firecracker up and moving. They headed out to go to Grand Valley sine they host an Allendale Parade every year. They picked me up on the way and we quickly parked and found a spot next to Adrienne, Yoch, and Sam to watch the parade. The entire town of Allendale came out to get the free candy and watch the tractors. Trayton was great! He cried when the fire trucks went by and honked and blared their sirens but other than that he was very alert and even would track something for a bit when it would go by. After the parade we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Selgo's. He went down for a nap right away so Grandma Ter went and napped with him while Mitch and I headed down to the basement and both passed out for 2 hours~ it felt awesome! Melissa and her parents and her fiancee came over for dinner and drinks and some outdoor games. Tray went down at his original bed time but only slept a half hour and then was wide awake until after 10pm. He didn't want to miss any festivities!
The first picture is him trying so hard to hold his bottle on his own.
The next are from my parents house
The last ones are from the parade.
Hope you all had a great 4th!!

Trayman Talking
Trayton has been talking like crazy lately. I posted some videos to show you. Sorry they are so long but he will babble like crazy and then the minute you turn the camera on he just looks at you. Stinker!
So summer has just flown by so far. Mitch basically has a month left until they start football but is really busy with a lot of camps still. This week was his week off so he played 18 holes of golf 3 days in a row. Our deal was if I let him play he would get up and do the night time feeding (his idea)... of course I told him he could play every day of the week! I don't mind getting up at night at all but I can never fall back to sleep where as Mitch is snoring the minute his head hits the pillow. Last night I got up at 2:45am to help and was back in bed by 3:30 but was still struggling to sleep at 5am. So golf away hunny!!!

Mitch found a buddy!! They hang out all the time and just have a blast together. I love the one of him taking his bottle- check out his position. Oh and his shirt says- "Don't look at me the smell is coming from daddy" haha

Well, we officially feel like parents. Mitch and I headed out of town on Monday morning and left Trayton with my mom and dad. We went to the Four Winns Casino in New Buffalo Michigan but is 10miles from Indiana. Mitch won a free room and it was one really nice room. We went and shopped at the outlet malls in Michigan City with another coach and his wife and then we all grabbed lunch together then headed to the casino for some fun. We didn't win and in fact we lost every game we played but we had a ball and we were very due for a vacation so it was so nice. We ended up taking a nap in the middle of the day and then after dinner, drinks, and some more gambling we headed to bed super early and loved every minute of getting a full night of sleep! We woke up the next morning and after sleeping in and taking out time we headed out for breakfast at cracker barrel where we were seated at the exact same spot that we sat at on our way home from our mini honeymoon...crazy! Then we stopped at the same winery that we stopped at after our wedding and picked out some more wine and just had so much fun together. We checked in periodically but always had good reports. Of course we were soooo excited to see him once we got back but after a few smiles he was worn out from all the action and attention at gram and gramps house so he went straight to bed! We had a very odd fussy day today but I'm sure he will be back to normal again tomorrow. Mitch is golfing with a bunch of gv alumni and then all the ladies are meeting the men at my parents house later for dinner and drinks so it should be a fun night... auntie ray ray is babysitting! Love to you all and hope everyone got to enjoy some of June since it was here and gone before I even realized it was here!
