FOOTBALL:
What a season! I'm so proud of Mitch and the team. They took a team that was good but not great and coached them to a National Championship game. The outcome wasn't what anyone wanted but they played an unreal game and it was great football. They fought till the end and that's what matters. The seniors had a record of 51-4, won 4 GLIAC titles, 1 National Championship and 1 National Runner-up. It's always a great day to be a Laker!!

Since I have been just loving hanging out with my happy little boy I realized I have forgotten to take pictures. OOPS :) We have been having so much fun. Everyday he learns or does something new. He gets up on his knees and rocks but he chooses to army crawl everywhere. It's hilarious!
Our first playoff game is this weekend against Hillsdale (who we lost to earlier in the season) so it has been an extra busy week for Mitch. Fingers crossed for a big Laker win!
Here is a pic of Tray and his buddy Sam getting ready for me to take them for a walk and then him just playing in the grass while I put up Christmas lights.

BUSY BUSY BUSY
We have been blessed with some beautiful weather and Mitch has a bye week so we have been tackeling house projects, putting up christmas lights, and spending some quality family time since it comes few and far between. And on top of it all we have one happy healthy little boy to share it all with.

Happy Halloween!
Our little goblin had a blast at the football game this weekend. I found his lion costume at a garage sale for $5. It was huge when I bought it but after layering him up for the cold weather it barely fit. Here are a few pictures with his buddies he plays with at the game. Grandma and Grandpa Selgo got him a Jeep for Christmas but he had to get it early so he could run circles around us and show off :)
Oh and he is a whole new baby! He just laughs and smiles and plays all day now. Mitch and I are really enjoying being parents now!!

So most of you know by now we had to rush Trayton to the ER on Wednesday night...
QUICK REVIEW:
The last 7 months we have really struggled with what we thought the whole time was reflux. Everyone kept telling us it will get better soon- we were getting worse and to the point he was screaming uncontrollably and choking so we rushed to the hospital knowing something was wrong. After being there 4 days and a swallow study, blood work, urine test, ultrasound, a meeting with a lady from the neurology development team, and they even scoped him we found out he doesn't even have bad reflux at all but does have cysts on his kidneys. I have Polycystic Kidney Disease so we knew it was a possibility. The Neuro lady there wanted to put him on a nerve numbing drug but I said...NO WAY! He does have very crazy arm, leg, hand, wrist, feet, and toe movements but I am not going to numb it.
So we need to get him into a Nephrologist and Neurologist right away. GOOD NEWS: He is doing much better on this formula.
PICTURES: The first few are his first day home... Mr. Happy!!
We sent dad a picture before the game to let him know we were cheering for him.
The last ones are of him when he was just coming out of the anesthesia from the scope. He was acting drunk but was still cute :)

FALL IS HERE
We are still trying to get Trayton feeling better and after a long week I was going stir crazy so my sister Ray and I took him to Post Family Farms on Saturday. They have the best cider doughnuts ever! Tray loved being there so I'm sure we are going back this weekend too. They have kittens everywhere and pumpkins, petting zoo, hay rides, and so much more. He was such a ham!!!
Check out the coolest hat ever he got from grandma and grandpa Mitchell.... It says " My first SUV" with a red wagon on it :)

Here are just a few pictures of the past two weeks... The first couple are from his first football game. We forgot the camera at the game but we snapped a few when we got back and he was still sooooooo excited. He usually goes to bed around 8pm but he stayed up until almost 11pm Saturday night. He was great at the game and only got a little scared when the fireworks went off. The Lakers won 47-21.
We had a rough week with Trayton. We went to the doctors last Monday and he has such a sore/red throat that he was put on amoxiclion but after almost 5 days on it and nothing happening we upped his doseage of zantac and he got better but still isnt quite back to normal. It's so hard to see him being fussy and in pain with his reflux especially since he doesn't want to play or talk or anything. Hopefully we get this turned around soon and we have a better week. We will keep you updated....
